WHAT IS THE TOP DOG FILM TOUR?

The Top Dog Film Tour has its origins in Australia and was started to showcase the incredible bond between dogs and their people through independent films. Touring annually the Top Dog Film Festival screens over 2 hours of the most inspirational, heartwarming and entertaining films related to dogs and their human companions from independent filmmakers around the globe.

2020's Top Dog Film Festival will take place in a slightly different format, but heart-warming stories about our four-legged friends will be heading your way this autumn - watch this space!

WHAT TIME DO THE SCREENINGS START AND FINISH?

Most screenings start at 7:30pm, have a 15 to 20 minute interval at around 8:45pm and finish around 10:00pm (so the screening runs for approximately 2.5 hours). Some screenings start at different times so please check your local screening details for start times.

 HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

Head to the TICKETS page and then click on "BOOK TICKETS" for the appropriate location and date. If there is any problem with the ticket booking process for any show please let us know and we will seek to resolve it with the relevant box office as quickly as possible.

HOW MANY FILMS ARE SHOWN AT EACH SCREENING?

At each screening you will see around 6 or 7 films featuring inspirational tales from across the globe. You can see more details of the film line up HERE

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN THE TOP DOG FILM TOUR?

We are currently searching for volunteers to be involved with the 2019 Top Dog Film Tour. See full details HERE

IS THE TOP DOG FILM TOUR CHILD FRIENDLY?
Our screenings generally carry a 12A rating - children are welcome to attend if accompanied by a responsible adult - but as always it is down to the parent/guardian's discretion. We do try to make the evenings as family friendly as possible and please get in touch if you would like to find out more details.

 CAN I BRING MY BABY?
While we love Top Dog Film Tour fans of all ages, some of our venues have specific policies in regards to babies so please check this on their website (or give them a call) to find out more. If you do bring along your baby to a screening, we kindly request that if your baby starts crying or becoming disruptive to audience members, that you pop out of the auditorium until he or she is settled.

CAN YOU BRING THE TOUR TO MY HOME TOWN?
We are looking for new venues and locations to bring the Top Dog Film Tour to in the UK. There are many factors which dictate where we take the Tour and which locations are suitable – but if you have a suggestion for a new location with a capacity of at least 450 people (or a better venue in an existing location that we visit) then it would be great if you could get in touch and let us know and we will consider your suggestions

CAN I BRING MY DOG TO A SCREENING?

While we love dogs of all kinds and would like to be able to welcome them at the screenings, our venues have their own policies in regards to dogs attending events. Each venue will accept Registered Assistance dogs but unfortunately they are unable to accommodate other dogs. If you have any specific questions about access for you Assistance Dog at a venue, please get in touch with the venue directly to discuss this. Hopefully one day in the future we can have a screening that accepts all dogs!
